The Roads Australia Christmas Luncheon has now been scheduled for Tuesday 18th November with Guest Speaker the Hon Tim Pallas, Minister for Roads and Ports.

Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.  Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Event Manager. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email.  Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%.   No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.

Minister tim pallas

Tim PallasTim Pallas is the Minister for Roads and Ports.  Tim oversees Victoria's extensive roads network, road safety initiatives and Victoria's world-class ports.  He also has responsibility for logistics and marine safety issues.

Tim is the Victorian representative on the Australian Transport Council, the peak body for Commonwealth, State, Territory and local Governments that coordinates and integrates transport and road policy issues.

Tim was elected Member for Tarneit in November 2006 and was appointed as the Minister for Roads and Ports in December 2006.

Prio to being elected to Parliament his role was as Chief to Staff to the Premier of Victoria, Steve Bracks, a position held from October 1999.  He worked as Chief of Staff for Mr Bracks when Opposition Leader from March 1999.

Tim was born in Newcastle, New South Wales and has degrees in both Arts and Law from the Australian National University.
